Supervisory Clinical Psychologist

Summary

The position functions as Clinical Psychologist and has program responsibility as Chief Executive Officer (CEO) for the Drug Dependency Unit (DDU) located in Winnebago, NE. The DDU delivers residential treatment services in an integrated, multi-disciplinary manner to patients who are affected by substance abuse, and in most cases, cooccurring psychological and various other mental conditions. This position reports to the Director of Behavioral Health in Aberdeen, South Dakota.

Duties

• Implements an effective comprehensive mental health/substance abuse services program to measure, assess, and improve the quality of care delivered to patients. Formulates a plan of action to effectively utilize resources.
• Provides fiscal management to develop budgets, project costs and monitor expenses.
• Oversees personnel management activities including position management, recruitment, employee relations, and conducts staff meetings and conferences. Develops job performance standards and assists in the proper evaluation and ratings of employees.
• Makes provisions to ensure the DDU is operated within the standards of accreditation bodies.
