Job Description:
Job Summary: The Talent Acquisition section of the Office of Human Resource Management is responsible for facilitating the sourcing, screening, and hiring of top talent for Louisiana State University. The Talent Acquisition Data Analyst serves as a co-subject matter expert on talent acquisition, contingent and part time employees, out-of-state workers, in addition to the HCM system and TA data framework.

Job Responsibilities:

30%- Talent: Serve as subject matter expert for all LSU part-time employees, non-LSU (contingent) employees (i.e. visiting researchers), and non LSU out-of-state workers. Establish relationships and provide support to departmental HR analysts and hiring managers in effort to maintain compliance with applicable laws, university policy, and procedures as well as to stay abreast of current and future hiring needs. Responsible for facilitating or overseeing proper applicant pre-screening. Responsible for Talent related Workday processing and implementing LSU and HRM policies and procedures.

20%- Data Leadership: Define, use, and champion data to support strategic recruiting initiatives, process changes, and support HCM maintenance and efficiencies. Assist in the research and evaluation of various internal reports to perform needs analysis for tracking and reporting and quality control purposes. Evaluate/upload data for multiple personnel actions. Evaluate and compile various quarterly/monthly Talent Acquisition metric reporting. Responsible for compiling monthly HCM reports to identify outstanding transactions, expired requisitions, etc. and reconciling these transactions accordingly. Also responsible for data quality and integrity as well as maintaining and ensuring effective business procedures within the HCM (Workday).

20%-nextSource Expert: Lead hiring processes for non-LSU out of state workers though LSU's third party employer of record (nextSource). Duties include, but are not limited to, establishing processes for identifying and completing hires for out of state workers, developing an auditing process to ensure appropriate actions are taken within the HCM by the Talent Acquisition team. Meet with LSU's nextSource partners to continue to strengthen the current hiring process and troubleshoot any hiring issues.

10%-Co-SME/Workday Testing/Data Integrity/Reporting: Serve as HCM recruiting co-subject matter expert (co-SME). Work in conjunction with the TA Subject Matter Expert and Central Support Services to support Workday testing and data conversion; planning for Workday updates to understand changes related to the Recruiting Module, how it affects business processes and training. Monitor and maintain Workday Community engagement to include brainstorm updates as needed. Assist with troubleshooting Workday errors and glitches, etc. for the Recruiting Module. Communicate Workday-related changes to TA team and LSU community as necessary.

10%- Collaboration and Projects: Collaborate within areas of HRM to lead and complete special projects related to talent acquisition. Collaborate with HRM Compensation and Shared Operation Services (SOS) teams to establish college/departmental partnerships and strengthen hiring plan strategy and execution. Assist in the development, preparation and presentation of TA training curriculum and resources (job aids, website information, ADA compliance, etc.). Develop resources surrounding projects, TA monthly meeting agendas, etc. as well as creating training resources for hiring managers.

10%- Other duties as assigned

Additional Requirements: This position is classifies as operation essential and may be asked to work during an official closure, but who is otherwise not required to report to the physical campus during a closure and whose absence does not present a risk to the safety, resources, and well-being of the campus per FASOP HR-01.

Preferred Qualifications: Master's degree in Human Resources with 2 years of experience with experience in Talent Acquisition with some experience in Workday/comparable HCM system.
