Community Regional Medical Center provides central California with the highest level of care available in the region. We measure up with top hospitals nationally and are the 3rd largest in California Our 685 beds is home to the only comprehensive Burn and Level I Trauma center between Los Angeles and Sacramento. With a full-service 58,000 square-foot Emergency Department, we are one of the largest and busiest in California. We have an 84-bed Level III NICU and plan to significantly expand our pediatric specialty services. The hospital serves 2.5 million people within 9 counties, averaging a daily census of 641 patients. We’re affiliated with UCSF as a teaching facility and have trained 3,000 Medical Doctor’s to date plus we continue to invest in research and training grants.

Responsibilities:The Team Leader of Pharmacy Operations is responsible for leading a team of Pharmacy Technicians to support pharmacy services and assists with coordinating daily activities and workflows. Provides support with order processing, inventory management and exceptional customer service, assuring smooth operations and timely service.  Assists in ensuring and enforcing technicians adhere to all applicable policies and procedures, and provides timely performance feedback to leadership to act upon. Accountable for developing work schedules and planning for open shift coverage. Functions as a mentor and provides training and guidance. Assists with maintaining and storing regulatory and department records according to the Board of Pharmacy, State, and Federal regulations. Initiates and participates in meetings, projects and optimization of procedures and workflows. The Team Leader is expected to assist with filling in and performing the duties of a Pharmacy Technician and to provide support in executing fundamental duties associated with other team leader roles within the department. Accountabilities 1. Coordinates and optimizes pharmacy workflows and activities to ensure timely and accurate dispensing of medications, order processing and other related tasks.2. Prepares Pharmacy Technician work schedules, assists in finding open shift coverage, and reports time and attendance information to leadership to act upon accordingly.3. Enforces proper workflow and provides training, coaching, and re-education for staff related to Pharmacy Technician job duties and assignments.4. Promotes a collaborative and a cooperative work environment, improving inter- and intra-departmental relationships by utilizing communication, interpersonal relationships and team building.5. Resolves issues within scope, and participates in finding creative solutions to problems.6. Assists in ensuring that all applicable policies and procedures are followed.7. Provides timely work performance feedback to leadership to evaluate and act upon accordingly.8. Assists Pharmacy leadership in maintaining and storing regulatory and departmental records.9. In conjunction with the Pharmacy Tech Supervisor, leads and participates in team huddles and various meetings.10. Provides Pharmacy Technician orientation and training in conjunction with the Supervisor.11. In the event of need, employee is held to essential accountabilities described for the Pharmacy Technician (40761) position, and provides support and assistance with executing fundamental duties of other Team Leader roles.12. Performs other job-related duties as assigned.Qualifications:Education• High School Diploma, High School Equivalency (HSE) or Completion of a CHS Approved Individualized Education Plan (IEP) Certificate required Experience• 2 years of experience in a pharmacy healthcare setting required• Experience in the inpatient pharmacy setting with the ability to work with interdepartmental teams preferred Licenses and Certifications• RXTECH - State of California Pharmacy Technician License required• CPHT - Certified Pharmacy Technician preferredDisclaimer:
