  • Group and Individual Instructional Coaching: Offer direct in-classroom support to teachers, including demonstration lessons, side-by-side coaching, peer observation facilitation, and lesson study lesson implementation.
  • Professional Development Facilitation: Design and share top-notch instructional resources such as lesson plans, unit plans, and assessments. Lead workshops and meetings to enhance teaching strategies.
  • Thought Partnership: Serve as a critical ally to school leaders and administrators in strategizing and implementing literacy programs.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
  • Cultivate a professional learning community by maintaining open lines of communication with teachers.
  • Analyze educational data to guide instructional improvements and school progress.
  • Actively engage with key stakeholders to report on program successes and identify future needs.
  • Commit to ongoing personal professional development to remain at the forefront of educational trends.
Qualifications:
  • Advanced degree in Education or a related field is preferred.
  • A minimum of 5 years' experience in a K-8 educational setting.
  • Demonstrated expertise in ELA content areas and a proven record of coaching teachers to success.
  • Strong background in designing and delivering adult professional development programs.
  • Familiarity with blended learning environments and Houghton Mifflin Harcourt (HMH) Into-Reading and/or Into-Literature programs is advantageous.
  • Exceptional communication skills.

  • Proficiency in adult learning theories and practices.
Compensation: (commensurate with experience, credentials, and qualifications)Part-Time:$600-$675/ dailyFull-Time: $83k-$90k/ annuallyPhysical Environment/Working Conditions:The role involves light lifting, walking, and climbing stairs.
