Role: DevOps Engineer
Location: Charlotte, NC (Hybrid Remote) 
Term: 12-24 month contract
Compensation: Negotiable (CANNOT Work Corp to Corp) 

Job Summary:
We are seeking an experienced Senior DevOps Engineer with a strong background in product engineering for Network Management tools and applications. The ideal candidate will have over 5 years of experience in DevOps, particularly in managing and optimizing network management systems, along with expertise in Linux administration and scripting. This role requires hands-on experience with a variety of network management tools and a working knowledge of Big Data solutions. Additionally, experience with Agile delivery methods is essential.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the design, development, and deployment of Network Management tools and applications.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure the successful integration and performance of network management tools.
  • Administer and maintain Linux operating systems as part of network infrastructure management.
  • Develop and maintain scripts using shell, Perl, Python, or other scripting languages to automate processes and improve efficiency.
  • Implement and optimize network management tools, including but not limited to performance, fault, and configuration management systems.
  • Work with Big Data solutions such as Elastic Search, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and Splunk to enhance data management and analysis capabilities.
  • Apply Agile methodologies to manage and deliver projects effectively, ensuring timely and high-quality outcomes.

Required Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of experience as a DevOps Engineer, with a focus on Network Management tools and applications.
  • Proficiency in one or more of the following tools: Broadcom DX NetOps, AppNeta, DX Virtual Network Assurance, DXOI, Traffic Analysis Tools (Apcon, Netscout, Extrahop), Arista DMF, Arista CVaaS, FORTINET Applications.
  • 5+ years of Linux operating system administration experience.
  • 5+ years of hands-on experience with network management tools, particularly in performance, fault, or configuration management.
  • 3+ years of experience in scripting or development using shell, Perl, Python, or similar languages.
  • Working knowledge of Big Data solutions such as Elastic Search, Grafana, Kibana, Prometheus, and Splunk.
  • 2+ years of experience with Agile delivery methodologies.

Preferred Skills:

  • Strong problem-solving abilities and the ability to work under pressure.
  • Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
  • Experience with cloud environments and containerization tools like Docker or Kubernetes is a plus.
