Job Description
In this role you will report directly into the Engineering Manager and be responsible for:
- Applying Analytical Tools: Using statistical and data analysis tools within a structured problem-solving approach to assess and enhance existing operations or translate customer requirements into repeatable, effective manufacturing processes.
- Executing Validation Runs: Planning, executing, and analyzing multi-phase validations or scenarios to confirm that new equipment, processes, or tooling meet functional performance criteria and metrics.
- Managing Projects: Initiating, developing, and maintaining Charters and Implementation Plans, including defining project scope, expected outcomes, resource needs, and timelines.
- Acting as Engineering Liaison: Serving as an engineering liaison to various groups, participating in analysis, design, and project review teams, and creating product and equipment specifications to ensure manufacturing capability.
- Supporting Process Transfers: Facilitating the transition of project solutions, new processes, or products to ongoing operations through operator training and the development of standard operating procedures, where applicable.
- Implementing Control Plans: Establishing and executing control plans to ensure that project improvements and gains are sustained over time.
- Contributing to Operational Strategy: Understanding and contributing to the development and execution of the Operational Strategy to drive Regional and Global Operational Excellence.
