About the Role


As the Chargeback & EDI Specialist, you will be an integral part of the team at JPMS. You will be responsible for managing all aspects of chargeback resolution and EDI transactions within the shipping and receiving department. This role requires a comprehensive understanding of chargeback processes, EDI standards, and the ability to analyze, dispute, and prevent chargebacks effectively.


What You will Do:

  • Investigate, analyze, and resolve chargeback claims from carriers and customers
  • Manage EDI transactions and ensure accurate and timely electronic data interchange with partners
  • Collaborate with the IT department, Customer Service, Vendors and Customers to troubleshoot and resolve EDI-related issues
  • Identify and partner with the Manager, Transportation & Logistics to implement strategies to minimize chargebacks and improve EDI processes
  • Partner with the Manager, Transportation & Logistics to train and support staff on chargeback and EDI procedures and best practices
  • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of industry standards and regulations related to chargebacks and EDI
  • Generate reports on chargeback trends, EDI transaction volumes, and process efficiencies
  • Other warehouse duties as assigned

Requirements:

What You'll Need:

Skills:

  • Proficient in EDI software
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel (intermediate skills required)
  • Excellent communication and project management skills
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Chargeback Management
  • Strong knowledge of EDI Standards and Protocols
  • Mid-level experience in process improvement
  • Mid-level knowledge of reporting & documentation standards as they apply to EDI protocols

Education:

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Bachelor's degree in business, finance, supply chain management, or a related field preferred

Experience:

  • 3+ years of experience in chargeback management and EDI operations

Competitive Compensation:

  • The expected hourly range for this position is $24.04-$31.25/hour. The exact hourly rate is determined by various factors including geographic location, experience, skills, and education.
  • Discretionary Bonus Plan: This position is also eligible for participation in the company discretionary bonus plan, based on personal performance and company results.
