The Mount Sinai Health System is currently in need of a Director of Nursing to oversee 6 outpatient Oncology clinics that provide services in Infusion, Radiation, GYN/Women's Services, and Breast Services. The clinics are located throughout the NYC area from the Lower East side to Brooklyn in Sheepshead Bay.
What You'll Do:
Directs, administers and assigns patient care activities for 100 FTEs throughout 6 Outpatient Infusion/Oncology clinics
Hires employees, extends probation, disciplines and terminates employees
Reviews clinical performance of nursing personnel via anecdotal records, conferences and evaluation process.
Oversees quality and performance improvement initiatives along with patient experience
What You'll Bring:
BSN and MSN, required; Doctorate, preferred
Demonstrated competence in nursing leadership. Experience and demonstrated competency in applicable clinical specialty. Demonstrated commitment to continuing professional growth and development. Eligibility for joint appointment with University affiliation.
Oncology certification
NYS RN
Licensed and currently registered as a professional nurse in New York State
