Articulate, interpret, and explain highly complex, potentially controversial, and important policies, programs, and other significant matters in a range of presentation media (written and web-based).
Acts as a mentor to entry- level employees in hazard recognition and safe laboratory and facility practices.
Reviews standards and regulations across a broad array of laboratory safety domains, including occupational safety and health, biosafety and biosecurity, and animal biosafety and handling, and has strong writing and communication skills.
Informs and interprets new Environmental, Occupational Safety and Health (EOSH) legislation and conducts background research, verifying legislative requirements, facts, dates, and statistics, for integration into manuals and other written documents.
