Job Description

Seeking a skilled Maintenance Technician to troubleshoot and diagnose equipment malfunctions, repair or replace defective components, and maintain up-to-date records of all maintenance activities. This role requires assisting in mechanical installations, troubleshooting hydraulics, and electrical/mechanical issues on machinery, and interfacing with operators and maintenance staff to ascertain and resolve problems. The technician will also read and interpret technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics, install and service various systems, and support continuous improvement initiatives by suggesting enhancements.

Hard Skills

  • Electrical and mechanical troubleshooting

  • PLC troubleshooting

  • Understanding ladder logic

  • Troubleshooting 24v-120v electronic systems

  • Up to 480v electrical troubleshooting

  • Ability to interpret electrical schematics

  • Experience with rollers, gears, bearings, shafts

Soft Skills

This is a Contract-to-Hire position with a duration of 6 Month(s) then converting perm

Work Site

This is a fully on-site position in Newnan, Georgia.

Work Environment

Industrial setting requiring adherence to safety standards. Shifts available: 2nd shift (3p-11p) with potential for overtime. Initial contract period with potential for permanent placement, transitioning to a 4-12 and 3-12 shift pattern every other week.
