What you will do:

We are seeking aQuality Control Inspectorto join our Quality team in our Repair Center. You will be responsible for ensuring all repairs meet the Metso standard quality requirements, scope of work, and all other document/undocumented requirements. In this position, you will report to the Quality Manager.

This position is located in Mesa, Arizona and may involve up to 15% of travel domestically, in the local surrounding area.

You will work closely with internal/external stakeholders, such as production team members, project managers, vendors, customers, and other internal employees.

What you'll do
Inspecting repaired products or components to ensure they meet the customer's specifications and expectations. Testing the functionality and performance of repaired products or components using appropriate methods and equipment. Recording inspection results and documenting any defects, reworks, or non-conformities in the quality database. Reporting any quality issues or customer complaints to the Repair Center Manager or Quality Manager and recommending corrective actions or preventive measures. Verifying that all tools, equipment, and materials used in the repair process are in good condition and comply with safety standards. Updating job knowledge by participating in training programs and learning new repair techniques and quality standards. Collaborating with other quality team members, repair technicians, and other internal employeesto ensure customer satisfaction and quality improvement. Who you are
In-depth knowledge ofinspection and measurement techniques, mechanical inspectionequipment and practices, Proficient in drawing/blueprint reading, including working knowledge of Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing (GT&D), Must be able to accurately use inspection measurement tools, i.e., micrometers, calipers, bore gauge, thread gauge, Must be able to read and interpret complex engineering drawings, true positions, and dimensions, Proficient in welding processes, inspection techniques, tools, and knowledge of AWS D1.1, AWS-CWI preferred, In-depth knowledge of Non-Destructive Testing, (NDT) methods of examination such as MT, PT, UT, ANST Level-II preferred, Ability to thrive in a fast-paced and demanding environment, Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
