SAP Business Partner - Beloit, WI 

The SAP Business Partner is responsible for leading the deployment and evolution of the solution within the assigned business area and plays a key role by acting as the single-point-of-contact between the end users and the Center of Excellence (COE).

They continuously analyze how the changes will impact the business area and lead the necessary actions to adapt and optimize business processes to drive improvements and ensure their sustainability over time. The SAP Business Partner leads the business requirements development and provides proper communication and training material to the end users on changes.

The SAP Business Partner is recognized for his/her in-depth experience and knowledge of the business domain and its processes and work in collaboration with the Center of Excellence (COE) to bring best practices forward in the business area.

YOU’LL HAVE THE OPPORTUNITY TO:

  • Ensure business areas stay proficient with changes by providing continuous learning of new features and processes. Develop, improve, and maintain training material and exercises; deliver training and coaching to end users.

  • Document knowledge in the knowledge library to ensure sustainment and easy onboarding of new employees.

  • Request, validate and maintain security end-user list for assigned business area.

  • Evaluate how the change is impacting people, and prepare, clarify, and communicate changes related to business processes, systems, job roles and organizational structures.

  • Coordinate actions and priorities with the other SAP Business Partners of the Logistics & Distribution group.

  • Brings best practices within assigned business area to gain efficiency, improve value and lean processes, by:

    • attending community calls and/or leadership governance.

    • suggesting improvements and updating processes.

    • providing input to communications, policies, and strategies.

    • releasing best practice guidelines.

    • keeping an eye out on trends and new features for proposing initiatives.

    • Sets tactical plans to support the strategic development goals within the business area and ensure progress towards these goals. 

YOU’LL THRIVE IN THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE THE FOLLOWING SKILLS, EXPERIENCE AND COMPETENCIES:

Required:

  • Bachelor’s degree in a discipline related to logistics & warehouse operations or any relevant disciplines such as computer science or business administration.

  • Holds from 3+ years of experience in the discipline related to warehouse operations. Experience in business analysis, process improvements, project management are a plus.

  • Experience with SAP/S4 and/or any EWM system

  • Travel at least once a month to other distribution centers in the US. 

  • Communication: Effective written and verbal communication skills.

  • Initiative: Demonstrated track record of initiating and successfully implementing projects or ideas.

  • Interpersonal skills: Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work with a variety of individuals and departments.

Preferred:

  • Strong knowledge of the business area as well as its systems, processes, and workflows.

  • Familiar with project management approaches, tools, and project lifecycle.

  • Embrace change and ability to role-model desired to-be behaviors.
