The Team Leader for ZSP Processing will assist the ZSP Supervisor with the daily operations of the ZSP processing department, ensuring Safety and Quality during the production of our products. The role requires a combination of leadership, technical expertise, and a commitment to safety and quality standards. This position will be required to fill in for all positions if needed.
Your responsibilities- Ensure adherence to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) and safety protocols.
- Assist with the adherence of daily production schedules, to include ensuring that all documentation for MBR’s, PM’s and Cleaning and Sanitization is completed for the shift.
- Perform MBR audits and enter non-conformities as needed.
- Assist with monitoring the processing of raw materials into liquid formula and drying into powder, ensuring compliance with nutritional and quality specifications.
- Assist with ensuring the Operator PM’s are completed for both maintenance and sanitation of processing equipment and the facility.
- Train and mentor team members on processing techniques and company policies.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including quality assurance, supply chain, Maintenance and Technical Services, to optimize production processes.
- Manage inventory levels and order supplies as needed to complete production schedule and set on coming shift up for success.
- Assist with the implementation of continuous improvement initiatives to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Prepare and maintain accurate documentation and records of production data and enter in the Production Reporting System.
- Lead the Processing Team in Supervisors absence.
- Assist with Scheduling of the Processing team.
- Ability to fill in on all processing jobs if needed.
- High school diploma or equivalent, required.
- Strong understanding of liquid processing and drying technologies and equipment, required.
- Knowledge of infant formula production and industry regulations is highly desirable.
- Excellent leadership and communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and experience with production management software.
- Ability to lead and motivate a team effectively.
- Strong problem-solving and decision-making capabilities.
- Detail-oriented with a focus on Safety and Quality.
- Flexibility to adapt to changing production schedules and demands.
