Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality patient care to acute dialysis patients as per clinical guidelines and protocols.

Set up, operate, and monitor dialysis machines during acute procedures, ensuring proper function and patient safety.

Continuously monitor vital signs, fluid balance, and lab results to adjust treatment and respond to changes in patient condition.

Administer medications and manage side effects during treatment.

Monitor patient health and recording vital signs.

Assist in the development and implementation of patient care plans.

Collaborate with the healthcare team to ensure comprehensive patient care.

Educate patients and families on dialysis procedures, self-care, and diet.

Qualifications:

Current and valid NY RN License.

Minimum of 1 years of experience in Acute Dialysis nursing.

Bachelor's Degree (BSN) preferred.

BLS Certification from the American Heart Association.

ACLS Certification preferred.

Background check, drug test, and competency test required.
