This position is located at the Rosebud Hospital - Outpatient Department, primarily to provide direct patient care services for patients presenting for care following sexual assault and secondarily for patients presenting for clinical care.
Duties
- Assesses, plans, implements and evaluates care of patients, including sexual assault patients, while working with a multi-disciplinary team for patient outcomes while following the standards of care.
- Maintains competency for performing forensic sexual assault examinations, including the documentation, packaging and the chain of custody for evidence that is collected.
- Provides individual and group education in regards to sexual assaults to patients, nursing personnel and community members.
- Schedules collaborative meetings for the sexual assault response team (SART) to evaluate processes and implementation and follow up of coordinated action items for the sexual assault patients, SART and facility.
