RAYUS Radiology, formerly Center for Diagnostic Imaging and Insight Imaging, is looking for a Radiologist Quality Coordinator to join our team. Support the operation of the RQM peer review program and other projects that relate to RAYUS's constant pursuit of excellence. This position also maintains positive work relationships with radiologists. This position is a full-time, hybrid corporate workday opportunity.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:
80% RQM Operations and Support
Helps coordinate monthly peer reviews assignments for radiologists participating in the RQM
Facilitates the exchange of peer review comments between radiologists and follows up directly with radiologists regarding cases with discrepancies and those requiring addendums
Provides RQM notifications to radiologists, coordinating with market associates as appropriate
Compiles RQM participation rates for quarterly and annual reports, as required by the Council of Medical Directors or as requested by partnering hospitals
Maintains data required by accrediting and licensing bodies and remains familiar with requirements of accrediting organizations
Follows all HIPAA guidelines, state statutes and RQM policies regarding peer review activities
* Works closely with the RQM team, radiologists and designated market associates to ensure they are knowledgeable regarding image routing and archival needs of the radiologists as well as case interpretation functions
10% RAYUS Quality Institute Support
Completes special projects and assignments as directed by Executive Director of the Institute
10% Other tasks as assigned

* Knowledge and understanding of communications networking

* Ability to work independently and in a team environment
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet established deadlines
* Ability to be flexible and adaptable to constant change
* Ability to deliver high quality customer service to internal and external customers by communicating with integrity and compassion
* Ability to resolve service recovery issues and understand when to escalate to the next level
* Ability to remain calm in difficult situations
* Ability to effectively use strong analytical and problem-solving skills
QUALIFICATIONS:
Required:
* Associate's degree or higher
* Familiarity with medical terminology
* Ability to effectively use Microsoft Office products
Preferred:
Experience with using an EMR
Knowledge of business workflow, PACS, RIS and imaging
WORKING CONDITIONS:
Requires the use of office equipment, such as computers, fax machines, telephones and copiers
Requires computer related activities for extended periods of time, particularly Excel
Requires the ability to see, hear, speak, write and key
May require some lifting, bending and stooping
Requires the ability to travel to Council meeting
Requires the ability to work on-call as needed
