As a Outpatient Psychiatric Nurse Supervisor, this role involves delivering high-quality and transparent clinical mental health services to fulfill the needs of Diversus Health's clients. Performs independent nursing assessments, communicates critical information, differentiating conditions/symptoms, follow up with triage, use appropriate clinical interventions to stabilize and treat clients.
* Provides direct client care to include but not limited to vital signs, medication injections, basic nursing and hygiene care, EKG, lab specimen collections, medication administration with follow-up assessments, crisis care, CPR/ First Aid as clinically indicated and/or ordered by prescriber.
* Analyzes and documents findings of medical and medication management, performs mental and substance use assessments.
* supports and provides quality client care through effective assessment, and individual and supportive therapies.
* Provides concurrent billing and medical/legal documentation meeting time and accuracy requirements.
* Performs client care optimizing client safety and risk reduction to include but not limited to reduction in health care errors, safety planning, following safety check protocols as ordered, seeking team collaboration or supervisor input for potentially risk situations, and continuously observing client behaviors, mental status, and activities.
Must excellent communication skills verbally and in writing including adhering to professional documentation standards
* Ability to analyze statistical data.
* Experience and knowledge of managed-care principles JACHO and state regulations, best clinical/nursing practices, business and leadership theory and models, critical thinking and team building, and CDC best practices
