State Street Global Markets IT is looking for a hands on leader to be part of a Front Office Risk and Trading System for Foreign exchange trading. Ideal candidate would be an expert in Java, Kafka and distributed in-memory grids and has prior experience in building low latency real time business applications. Due to the role requirements this job needs to be performed primarily in the office with some flex work opportunities available.
Influence the architecture and technical design of the cross asset Front Office Position and Risk platform
Collaborate with other developers, business analysts, front office risk and analytics teams to craft elegant solutions to front office trading requirements
These skills will help you succeed in this role
Expert level knowledge in Java 11+
Expertise with Spring Boot framework and hands on knowledge in building microservices based architectures.
Expert at developing Unix scripts.
Prior experience in building low latency realtime applications with high volume of data.
Ability to build user interfaces using React and HTML5.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Information Technology
