*Job Description:*
We have an exciting opportunity for an experienced *Module Development Test Engineer II *to join our Module Development Section with the Advanced Microelectronics Solutions (AMS) Department. The successful candidate will be responsible for testing modules containing GaAs- and GaN-based monolithic microwave integrated circuit (MMIC) products. This would be in active support of existing technologies in production as well as next generation products in development. This position requires a strong academic background and experience in RF/Microwave Integration & Test.
*Responsibilities to Anticipate:*

* Conduct testing on multi-channel RF Modules characterizing both receive and transmit behavior
* Maintain and troubleshoot rackmount test stations and LabVIEW test scripts
* Consult with RF module design and assembly teams
*Qualifications You Must Have:*

* Typically requires a degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field and a minimum of Two (2) or more years of relevant experience (An advanced STEM degree could count for 3 years of experience)

* Hands-on experience with RF Testing, LabVIEW Scripting, Data Analysis
* The ability to obtain and maintain a US security clearance. U.S. citizenship is required as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance

*Qualifications We Prefer:*

* A Master’s degree or PhD. in a Science, Technology, Engineering & Math (STEM) Field
* Experience with microwave testing techniques, including using spectrum analyzers, Real-time Spectrum Analyzers (RSAs), Vector Network Analyzers (VNAs) and Performance Network Analyzer (PNAs)
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Experience in a production environment

* Strong academic background that includes courses in: Microwave Engineering, Microwave Systems, Electromagnetic Theory and Radar Systems
* Experience with analytical tools such as Matlab, Python, or JMP

* Current DoD Secret level security clearance
* Experience with GaAs and / or GaN MMIC devices

The salary range for this role is 64,000 USD - 128,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels.
