Medical Imaging Tech, Glenville
Welcome to Albany Medical Center, providing excellent care to our community each day. We have an exciting opportunity for Medical Imaging Techs to join our team.
This is an onsite position at Glenville, with some travel required.

Properly identify and prepare patients for radiologic procedures and perform diagnostic x-ray exams following established protocols and procedures for patient care and safety in an outpatient urgent care setting
Confirm, schedule and log completed radiologic procedures in computer and site schedules
Clean and maintain equipment and examination rooms at all times
Ordering and re-stocking of medical supplies
Team support to medical providers and front desk

Associate’s degree in Radiologic Technology is required
NYS Radiologic Technologist license and current AART registration is required
Basic knowledge of radiology equipment including safety hazards common to radiology
Ability to communicate clearly and provide routine diagnostic imaging procedures to children, adolescents, adults and geriatric patients with consideration to cultural and developmental stages during the exam process
