I am the Regional Medical Director of Sound Critical Care in the greater Richmond area for our growing group of hospital partners. I am proud to lead our team as we expand our partnership with Bon Secours to include Southside Regional Medical Center in Petersburg, VA. This will be our fourth Bon Secours partner hospital in the greater Richmond area and are eager to add an experienced leader to our team as a program medical director in Petersburg.
Our program medical directors are the core of our team, clinically and professionally. Our leaders are well-supported, and we are proud to provide the tools necessary to lead a strong team of critical care providers.
As the program medical director, you will oversee a team of 5 board-certified critical care physicians and 3 experienced critical care advanced practice providers at Southside Regional Medical Center.
Within our partner hospitals, we work closely with our colleagues from various departments and disciplines to ensure that the highest level of care is provided to our patients.
Petersburg is a growing community located just 30 minutes south of Richmond offering rich history, and easy access to Washington, DC, the gorgeous beaches of Virginia, and Colonial Williamsburg, Virginia, all within a few hours.
Petersburg is part of the Tri-Cities area and offers the convenience of suburban living with the beauty and respite of a recreational oasis.
Bon Secours Southside Regional Medical Center is a 300-bed hospital and is part of the larger Bon Secours Health System which serves communities in 6 states.
Southside Regional Medical Center is designed as a level III trauma center and primary stroke center with a full complement of medical subspecialties.
The hospital boasts 28 ICU beds in total, 14 MICU and 14 CVICU.
We work in EPIC, with access to our internal informatics platform.
