Our Tactical Space Systems Division Integration and Test group is seeking an Electronics Engineer (EMI/EMC/RF Integration and Test) to join our team of qualified and diverse individuals in Gilbert, AZ. You will have the opportunity to design, develop, and execute test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry, and electrical ground support equipment. The ideal candidate has system level test experience working with spacecraft flight hardware and good computer skills. Candidate must be able to tackle issues utilizing skills obtained in the field of electrical engineering, or a related discipline, preferably as it relates to system level integration and test. The ability to use a scripting language and formulate automated test scripts is highly desirable. International travel to support launch campaigns may be required. Shift and weekend work to support testing will be required periodically. Perform EMI/EMC testing in accordance with applicable standards and test procedures. General frequent use and application of technical standards, principles, theories, concepts and techniques
Execute EMI testing, monitor EMI tests per specification, troubleshoot, and document all test activities
Understands NG test engineering practices and principles
Understands both electrical circuits and software within the flight hardware and EGSE
Supports EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this tasking with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer
Travel and support different shifts when required
Self-motivated and commercially astute, with leadership and communication skills to supervise more junior engineers if required
Maintain lab and lab equipment readiness to support testing
Bachelor's degree in electrical/computer engineering (or equivalent) with 9 years of related engineering experience; OR a master's degree with 7 years of related engineering experience
Strong background in EMI/EMC standards/specifications (or equivalent commercial standards).
Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience
Must have a current or active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Active DoD TS/SCI or higher security clearance with investigation in the last five (5) years
Experience with hardware or software testing and test scripting
Thorough knowledge of EMI/EMC testing to MIL-STD-461, MIL-STD-462
Technical knowledge of EMI/EMC test equipment (spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, signal generators, RF amplifiers, etc)
Experience in Electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, Environments testing (Vibration Analysis/Thermal Vacuum chamber testing)
Experience working TILE and NEXIO BAT-EMC software for the purpose of EMI testing Experience in Aerospace or Defense industry (development or test)
