Job Title: Electronics Engineer - EMI/EMC/RF Integration and Test

Job Summary:

We are seeking an experienced Electronics Engineer to join our team in Gilbert, AZ. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, and executing test procedures and automated test scripts using spacecraft commands, telemetry, and electrical ground support equipment.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop EMI test procedures, specifications, and test limits
  • Execute EMI testing, monitor EMI tests per specification, troubleshoot, and document all test activities
  • Demonstrate the skill and ability to perform moderately complex professional tasks
  • Understand NG test engineering practices and principles
  • Support EGSE and flight hardware test/troubleshooting efforts and ability to perform this tasking with little to no oversight from another Electrical Engineer
  • Travel and support different shifts when required
  • Provides solutions to a variety of technical problems of increasing scope and complexity as assigned
  • Has technical insight and experience to know if test set-up and results make sense
  • Ability to establish and maintain infrequent inter-organizational and outside customer contacts on routine matters

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Computer Engineering (or STEM) with 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree with 0 years of related engineering experience
  • Demonstrate ability to learn and integrate new programming languages based off previous experience
  • Must be willing to obtain and maintain a U.S DoD Government clearance

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with any of the following Microsoft Visio, National Instruments LabView
  • Experience with hardware or software testing and test scripting
  • Minimum of five years of directly related experience in EMI/EMC test
  • Advanced understanding of RF measurement instruments (Spectrum analyzers, EMI receivers, network analyzers, power meters, etc)
  • Experience in Electronics troubleshooting, RF test configuration testing, Environments testing (Vibration Analysis/Thermal Vacuum chamber testing)
  • Programming experience with any of the following languages: Python, C, C++

Salary Range:

$89,000 - $103,000
