Senior Supply Chain Director - Full Time

As a senior consultant, you will help develop and deliver customized approaches to our service offerings to meet our client’s specific needs including quality improvements, cost savings, and revenue enhancement. We are “hands-on” and utilize focused skills across the value stream from supply chain to operations to organizational strategy to customer engagement. We implement practical solutions to help the client to do more with what they have and innovative solutions to take advantage of techniques they have not tried.
Gather and analyze relevant data, conduct client interviews, and visit facilities to observe operations first-hand
Identify and catalog problems, challenges, risks, and opportunities
Develop performance metrics and construct reports that effectively represent current state and desired future state
Create and utilize workplans to effectively prioritize and manage multiple concurrent tasks with a high sense of urgency across one or more workstreams
Create reports and presentations for use in communicating findings to client management and implementation teams; then, provide implementation oversight including creating documentation, delivering training, and coaching
Interact with peers to foster your support network, and empower career development
Manage project resources in a team environment as needed
5+ years of management consulting, advisory, professional services, industry, and/or hands on supervisory experience including coaching, mentorship, and performance management within Supply Chain
~ Proven critical thinking skills in both data collection and complex analysis; ability to identify data gaps and risks, develop sound conclusions, and create implementable and sustainable recommendations for improvement
~ An entrepreneurial mindset to collaborate with project team members / clients to design and implement effective solutions to complex business problems; effectively deliver presentations of content in a customer-facing forum
~ Business process mapping to document current and potential future state and use of a mapping software such as MS Visio, etc.
~ Exemplary skills across entire Microsoft Office Suite
~ Demonstrated ability to apply statistical analysis tools to drive objective decisions and outcomes for a client

Inventory Management. Detailed analysis of inventory data, targets, and achieving inventory reductions
Demand Planning and Forecasting. Master Scheduling/Capacity Planning. Buyer/planner process understanding, shop floor dispatch/control installation, BOMs, and master data management. Warehouse/Facilities/Distribution Center Management. Familiarity with Warehouse Management Systems, inventory turns, cycle counting, barcoding, and equipment maintenance. Preference given to DC with minimum of 30 employees and $30M in inventory cost.

Education, Certifications, and Software Programs
Bachelor’s degree required / master’s degree
Project Management (PMP, CPIM, APICS, Scrum, Agile) or Six Sigma certification preferred
Synergetics contractors may reside in any city, however, proximity within one hour of an international-class airport is required. With our “hands-on” approach, travel to our client sites is typically required as part of the project.
