OnsiteThe Secure Information Systems Department at Collins Aerospace is seeking an *Associate Director **Secure Systems Architect* to help grow a new and exciting secure system product line. This position is eligible for relocation assistance.
The *Associate Director **Secure Systems Architect* is the SE authority tasked to ensure robust secure solutions are verified and validated in a fast-paced agile environment. The candidate will drive a scaled agile systems process working with product owners and functional leads to reduce time to market to meet our customer’s ever-changing requirements. This individual is a lifelong learner with a proven history of pushing teams toward new and innovative processes, tools, and a quality focused culture. The Architect is a technical leader whose roles and responsibilities include requirements derivation, architecture, and design, implementing agile processes and tools, leading bids and proposal work, and working across the engineering functions to achieve program objectives.
*Promote, mature, and grow the application and use of MBSE for the product line.
* Support the training and growth of the SE team on the product line and ensure best practices are adhered to.
* Work within the boundaries of government and company guidelines to ensure compliant and cutting-edge solutions for both current and future capabilities.
*Expert experience with integrating software and firmware on FPGAs and SOCs
* Supporting development projects from concept through implementation and integration.
* Typically requires a degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) unless prohibited by local laws/regulations and minimum 12 years prior relevant experience *or *an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 10 years of experience *or* in absence of a degree, 16 years of relevant experience.
* S. government issued security clearance is required.
* S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.

The salary range for this role is 143,000 USD - 287,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays.
