It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) Registered Nurse Interventional Radiology RN. Under the general supervision of the Radiology Director, Medical Director and the RN Radiology Coordinator, the Radiology RN assists with patient care in diagnostic, CT, Ultrasound, Nuclear Medicine, MRI, Mammography and Interventional procedures. Assists with Gamma Knife following appropriate screening and training. Assignment to assist with CAPPS patients following orientation to the unit. This is achieved by performing nursing patient assessment in accordance with the guidelines established by the facility. The Radiology RN maintains accurate documentation of patient data while in the radiology department. Will instruct and aid in the training of Radiology and Nuclear Medicine students in clinical nursing practices. Knowledgeable in handling controlled medications in Radiology according to hospital protocol.
Minimum of 1 year work experience in critical care unit including experience in monitoring patient’s Vital signs including cardiac rhythms.
Graduate from an accredited School of Nursing and or Bachelor’s Degree in Science in Nursing
