Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems (NGAS) has an opening for a Functional Homeroom Section Manager to join our team of qualified, diverse individuals. This position will support the Vehicle Engineering directorate in Palmdale, CA on a 9/80 shift (every other Friday off).
The Section Manager will be responsible for approximately 15 staff members. This position is over a cross functional engineering team. The selected candidate will be responsible for leading all managerial tasks relevant to this Vehicle Engineering team. 20%) and technical performance (approx. Bachelor of Science degree in a related Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM) discipline from an accredited institution and 9 years of relevant professional/military experience; Demonstrated excellence in the field of structural analysis
Must have an Active DoD Secret or higher clearance (with a background investigation completed within the last 6 years or currently enrolled into Continuous Evaluation)
Must have the ability to obtain and maintain Special Access Program (SAP) clearance prior to the commencement of employment. This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs
Bachelor’s Degree and/or an Advanced Degree in Aerospace, Civil, and/or Mechanical Engineering
Experience with CPLM, Teamcenter, CATIA, NX-CAD, and/or similar CAD packages
Experience leading an engineering team within a fast-paced, manufacturing environment
Top Secret Clearance
