As a Senior Systems Engineering Application Specialist at Lockheed Martin, you will be responsible for managing a team of systems engineers and executing design, such as requirements architecture and modeling, across Advanced Development Programs (ADP).
Key responsibilities include effective training and development of staff, recruiting of required high-end talent, growth of tool capabilities, performance management and assessment, employee career development, and compensation/promotion/awards planning.
You will ensure the numerous Systems Design disciplines are properly implemented enabling engineering and product support requirements to be maintained in accordance with contract requirements.
Collaboration with counterparts in hardware engineering and software engineering, Chief Engineer's organization, and the program office is essential to ensure that Systems Design processes are being executed.
Key responsibilities include:
- Systems Design point of contact with Customers, Program Management, suppliers, and others.
- Plan, establish, document, and communicate program specific requirements.
- Plan and maintain Systems Design staffing requirements.
A Bachelors or Masters Degree from an accredited university in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Systems Engineering, or Computer Science (STEM) is required.
Additionally, a Final Secret Clearance investigation within the last 5 years, experience in Systems Design and Requirements, exceptional communication and expectation setting skills with LM and customer executive level personnel, colleagues and team members, and experience with Agile software development methodologies and tools are essential.
