Short Term Speech Therapist need for elementary schools in Basking Ridge NJ

INVO is seeking a short term Speech Therapist for elementary and preschool ASD students in Basking Ridge , NJ. The role involves assessing and treating speech, language, voice, and fluency disorders to help students improve communication skills in a school setting. Assessment : Conduct speech and language screenings and evaluations for students referred for services.
Therapy : Develop and implement individualized therapy plans (IEPs) based on student needs. Provide direct therapy to improve speech articulation, language development, fluency, and other communication skills.
Collaboration : Work closely with teachers, special education staff, and parents to ensure integrated support for the child’s development. Maintain detailed records of student evaluations, therapy sessions, progress notes, and IEP goals. Provide consultation to teachers and staff on how to support speech and language development in the classroom environment.
Compliance : Adhere to all district policies, state and federal regulations, including those related to special education (IDEA) and speech therapy services.
Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.
Valid New Jersey state licensure as a Speech-Language Pathologist.
Experience working with elementary-aged children in a school setting preferred.
Strong knowledge of childhood language and speech disorders.
Ability to work collaboratively with students, staff, and families.
Full-time or part-time, depending on the assignment.
