RHA is Looking for an IDD Facility Nurse (LPN) to Join our Team
Schedule: 12 hour shifts. Provide holistic nursing care to individuals with intellectual and developmental disabilities
Assist the Registered Nurse in delivering quality nursing services to persons supported
Provide health related training to unlicensed personnel
Assist with ensuring preventative and routine medical appointments are scheduled
Collect health related data
Observe for and report any abnormal health related findings to the physician
Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, medical suppliers, and the Interdisciplinary Team
Advocate for the people supported and assist with developing community supports to promote optimal health for the people supported
Graduation from an accredited licensed nurse program
Current nursing license with no restrictions to practice nursing.
Must be able to demonstrate proficiency in CPR from the floor level. Ability to help others and make a difference
Ability to join a team of dedicated caregivers, where you will be a valued member of a care team, enabling people RHA supports identify and achieve personal goals, experience, meaningful days, participated in the community, and live more independently.
