The Vehicle Maintenance department, which is responsible for the maintenance and safety devices of all Steamboat Ski & Resort vehicles and heavy equipment, is looking for a Slope Vehicle Shop Supervisor If you have experience with vehicles, buses, snow cats, heavy equipment and small engines, this might be the right fit for you If you have supervisory experience and mechanical experience, apply today
Supervise shop floor mechanics and ensure all mechanics are complying with safety and company directions


~ Ensure proper maintenance and repairs of all equipment


~ Order, maintain and ensure accuracy of parts inventory


~ Performance evaluations of your shop floor mechanics and all reporting employees


~ Operate equipment in a safe an efficient manner


~ Assist in parts room as needed


~ Manage all vehicle shop shipping and receiving


~ Ensure the shop floor is clean and all work areas are looking professional


~ Compliance with all company policies and procedures as well as any regulatory requirements


~ Ability to run and operate heavy equipment required


~ Mechanical course and 5 years' experience required


~ Mechanical course and 3 years SNOWCAT' experience required


~ Ability to problem-solve in a highly effective manner and maintain positive relationships with guests and staff, including management, subordinates and co-workers


The base hourly pay range below represents the low and high end of the Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's hourly pay range for this position. Actual pay will vary and may be above or below the range based on various factors including but not limited to experience, education, training, location, merit system, quantity or quality of production, responsibilities, and regular and/or necessary travel. The range listed is just one component of Steamboat Ski & Resort Corporation's total compensation package for employees. Steamboat Springs area base hourly pay range: $43 per hour. 00 signing bonus for this role - $2500 on your first check, and $2500 after your 90 day review.
