Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems is looking to add an Electronics Engineer - Sensors Supplier Management Lead OR Principal Electronics Engineer - Sensors Supplier Management Lead to join our team in Rancho Bernando, CA. This position will be in our Avionics Integration Organization. This candidate will be responsible for the entire program lifecycle to include development, production and sustainment of Triton RADAR and SIGINT systems as a Supplier Management Lead and engineer on the Mission Systems IPT Sensors Team. Coordinating and managing the execution of all phases of supplier performance which includes planning, proposals, new capability development, production, testing, deliveries, and sustainment.
Conducting or coordinating review of supplier documentation (e.g. technical evaluations of proposals, acceptance test procedures, cost and schedule reports, software version description documents).
Tracking delivered assets and managing repairs/RTVs.
Reporting supplier status to Program Managers, GSC managers, and IPT Management.
Performing EO/IR, RADAR and SIGINT subsystem analysis, documentation of system requirements and interfaces with traceability to platform requirements.
Coordinating the identification, tracking, and resolution of all risks, issues, and opportunities, including root cause/corrective action of technical issues.
This position offers a hybrid work environment, allowing the selected candidate to telework at least one day a week and requires the ability to travel up to 10% of the time.
This position can be filled at either the Electronics Engineer level or the Principal Electronics Engineer level, depending upon the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications - Electronics Engineer:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 2 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 0 years of related engineering experience.
Active in-Scope, DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance once in position.
Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Basic Qualifications - Principal Electronics Engineer:
Bachelor's Degree in a STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics) discipline and 5 years of related engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM discipline and 3 years of related engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM discipline.
Active in-Scope, DoD Secret clearance with the ability to obtain and maintain a DoD Top Secret clearance once in position.
Ability to obtain and maintain initial Special Program Access (SAP). This SAP must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance
Understanding of EO/IR, RADAR, SIGINT, and/or AIS sensor operation and data products to include image analysis
Experience in Supplier Management
Signals Intelligence expertise and experience
