It is an exciting time to be a nurse at HCA Healthcare Help to advance the practice of nursing and improve positive outcomes for your patients as a (an) Registered Nurse Quality Coordinator. The RN Quality Coordinator assists with the coordination of the Performance Improvement Program to ensure high quality, patient-centered care by supporting the daily operations of the Quality Management/Patient Safety Program(s) and Performance Improvement programs.
The RN Quality Coordinator collaborates with the Quality Leadership Team and other stakeholders to monitor processes, identify opportunities, obtain analyses, provide constructive input and channeling concerns appropriately, in compliance with applicable laws, regulations, and other governmental requirements.
The RN Quality Coordinator highlights priorities through data analysis and trending, incident response, and assists with staff education to advance patient safety and control and minimize risks at the facility.
Graduate of school of nursing required. 2+ years clinical experience in a healthcare setting, Required.
~2+ years experience with computer programs, database programs, spreadsheets and project management, Preferred.
~ Certified Professional in Healthcare Quality (CPHQ), Preferred.
~ Certified Professional in Healthcare Risk Management (CPHRM), Preferred.
~ Healthcare Accreditation Certification Program (HACP), Preferred.
Overland Park Regional Medical Center is a 340+ bed facility offering acute medical services to our patients. We are Johnson County’s only Pediatric Intensive Care Unit and Level II Trauma Center. Our hospital is a premier area destination for Women's & Children’s healthcare services. We offer the region’s only Maternal Fetal Health Center to care for critically ill mothers and their babies. Our hospital has an antepartum unit, a labor and delivery unit, and a Level III NICU. We have four emergency rooms, including a dedicated Pediatric emergency room and two freestanding ERs located in Olathe and Shawnee.
