Growing Loop law firm seeks an experienced corporate/transactional associate to join our dynamic national practice. Our firm handles a broad range of complex matters in a variety of areas, including nonprofit and local government law, complex tort and healthcare defense, commercial litigation and transactional matters, and real estate development. Ideal candidates will possess 3 to 7 years of experience in corporate or transactional law, with demonstrated experience in representing nonprofit, religious, and/or other tax-exempt organizations. Successful candidates will have the ability to work proactively and will demonstrate strong analytical, writing, research, and communication skills, as exemplified by the criteria listed below.
3 to 7 years of hands-on experience in corporate or transactional law.
~ Experience with nonprofit, religious, and/or other tax-exempt clients preferred.
~ History of academic success.
~ Direct responsibility for advising clients on corporate governance matters, preparing bylaws and policies, and drafting and negotiating contracts and other transactions.
