Position summary:

We are seeking a Senior / Principal Research Associate to join our growing therapeutics team. The key functions for this lab-based role is to perform cell-based experiments to assess the performance of our novel RNA molecules and to conduct the end-point assays for various in vivo experiments (e.g. ELISA, MSD, flow cytometry). These experiments will generate proof of concept across various infectious disease vaccine candidates and other therapeutic programs. Key responsibilities:

  • Conduct cell-based experiments to assess the expression and immunogenicity of novel RNA constructs
  • Conduct various immunological assays such as ELISA, MSD, western blots, flow cytometry, and RT-qPCR
  • Conduct various immunological assays such as ELISA, Flow Cytometry, ELISpot and ICS .
  • Maintain detailed record of experimental protocols and data in electronic lab notebook.
  • Collaborate across research teams to facilitate the success of programs.

Qualifications:

  • B.S. or M.S. in immunology / virology / cellular biology or related field with 4-6 or 2-4 years of relevant experience, respectively.
  • Hands on experience with mammalian cell culture, ELISA and flow cytometry is required.
  • Experience with western blots and/or RT T -qPCR is highly desirable.
  • Experience in vaccines or cell therapies is a plus.
  • Ability to troubleshoot and analyze data.
  • Ability to adapt to increasing scope and complexity of work.
