ARE YOU A GOOD FIT FOR THIS REGISTERED NURSE JOB?

To excel in the role of a Registered Nurse at Comfort Home Care, candidates must possess essential skills and qualifications. We are looking for Massachusetts licensed RNs who can conduct thorough initial and ongoing assessments to determine clients' medical needs, functioning level, and communication abilities. Successful candidates will be adept at initiating care plans, performing OASIS assessments when necessary, and implementing appropriate nursing interventions. Excellent coordination skills are crucial as RNs will be responsible for managing services, updating healthcare personnel on any client changes, and collaborating with patients, families, and other providers for comprehensive care planning and discharge.

Knowledge and skills required for the position are:

RN provides initial and ongoing assessments to identify the client's medical needs level of functioning and ability to communicate and learn.
RN initiates the plan of care necessary revisions and performs OASIS assessments at appropriate time points when applicable.
RN Initiates and performs appropriate nursing interventions.
RN coordinates services informs the physician and other personnel of changes in the client's condition and needs.
RN collaborates with patient /family and other health care providers and/or community resources with planning of care and discharge.
RN prepares clinical and progress notes and submits all required paperwork in a timely manner according to agency policy and procedure.
