Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Maryland Board of Nursing obtained within 3 Months (90 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Enrolled in or completion of Nursing program required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing required within 6 months of hire.
Graduate Nurses must be a graduate of a board-approved registered nursing education program. Nurse graduates may practice under this regulation until the earlier of 1. 90 days from the date of graduation or 2. A nursing graduate shall cease practice as a nursing graduate immediately if the nursing graduate fails the initial NCLEX examination.
