To be considered for this role you will be a proven HR generalist, with experience of working at a senior level and with sound experience within both operational HR & Strategy. This role will suit an individual who enjoys the mix of the two aspects and with a passion for employee engagement and continuous development of HR.

You must have the gravitas, confidence and resilience to challenge people leaders as well present new ideas and your plans to the wider group, influencing and gaining buy-in. You will be able to communicate and engage with people at all levels.

Key focus areas of the role itself and where you will spend the majority of your time:

Recruitment & development

Installs effective processes to attract & retain talent and ensures local employer branding initiatives in line with talent strategy and global guidelines.

Develops a new starter onboarding process and carries out new starter onboardings.

Analyzes training needs and develops training program to promote employee development.

Contributes to Performance Management process with the General Management, other department’s managers and co-workers

Facilitates the management of talent and succession planning.

Policies & procedures

Ensures compliance with procedures relating to personnel administration and the regulation of social and labor law. Manages complex employee relations topics in an effective way.

Develops and monitors local HR policies and procedures to drive performance and engagement. Key expert & contact person for visa related topics.

Payroll & Benefits

Ensures accurate & timely payroll process, together with an external PEO organization.

Takes the lead in the yearly Benefits renewal process, simulating alternative options which are most beneficial for both the employees and the company.

Tender benefits programs to different partners if appropriate.

Creates the yearly payroll budget, is the main liaison with Finance to analyze any deviations from budget.

Executes yearly salary benchmarks to ensure we remain competitive. Leads the yearly salary review process, in close collaboration with the group.

Business Partner

Maintains excellent employee relations by fostering a TOP culture (or values Team Spirit/Open Dialogue/Passion) and by advising management on how to establish positive employer-employee relationships.

Provides first line advice on current and existing benefits for employees and managers. Acts as a trusted advisor for all employees in the sales office.

Participates in the implementation of specific projects, procedures and guidelines to help align the workforce with the strategic goals of the organisation.

To be able to achieve the above and be successful in this role we believe you need to have:

Proven HR generalist experience of at least seven years with a strong backbone in recruitment in a fast-moving company or at agency side.

Solid knowledge of employment legislation and its application, especially in California. Proactive team player with strong problem-solving skills.

Exceptional organizational and communication skills.

Experience with a PEO payroll administration and SAP SuccessFactors is a plus. Ability to maintain confidentiality and act with discretion and diplomacy.

Self-motivated and able to work under own autonomy or as part of a team.

Entrepreneurship and “hands on” mind set.
