Office Assistant

We are looking for a responsible Office Assistant to perform a variety of administrative, accounting and clerical tasks. I need someone with basic accounting knowledge and a creative side. Duties of the Office Assistant include providing support to our managers and employees, assisting in daily office needs and managing our company’s general administrative activities. The ideal candidate should be trustworthy, have excellent oral and written communication skills and be able to organize their work using tools, like MS Excel and office equipment. Ultimately, a successful Office Assistant should ensure the efficient and smooth day-to-day operation of our office.
Keep inventory on office supplies and research new deals and suppliers
* Liaise with Office Manager, Accounts Receivable, Purchaser and General Manager to handle requests and queries from senior managers.
* Track and process credit memos from vendors and corresponding claims
* Handle sensitive information in a confidential manner
* This position should expect to help with a wide variety of tasks. The focus will be on the claims process and three-way matching

*
Proven experience as an administrative assistant or office admin assistant
* Working knowledge of office equipment, like printers and fax machines
* Proficiency in MS Office (MS Excel and MS PowerPoint, in particular)
* additional qualification as an Administrative assistant or Secretary will be a plus
Salary: $17+ per hour
