Feedlot Mechanic

QUALIFICATIONS: - 2-3 years working around feedlot setting a preferred- Strong diesel and gas mechanical & maintenance background- Able to do all day-to-day maintenance and repairs. Feedlot runs Rotomix feed trucks- Experience with small engines and heavy equipment- Welding and fabrication experience a required- Experience ordering and maintaining inventory of parts- Willing to operate equipment when needed JOB DESCRIPTION: Hansen Agri-PLACEMENT is searching for an experienced Feedlot Mechanic for this Nebraska producer. Feedlot mechanic will be responsible for the day-to-day maintenance and repairs. Feedlot has good facilities and shop. Need a dedicated mechanic experienced in diesel and gas engine repair. Need someone experienced with everything from small engines to heavy equipment. Brakes, transmissions, hydraulics, welding and fabrication experience are required. Mechanic will be responsible for ordering parts and maintaining the inventory of parts and must be able to plan how feed trucks and equipment will come through the shop for scheduled maintenance. Searching for a candidate familiar with reading service manuals, parts manuals and just good all-around mechanical ability. Great location for spouse to find employment locally. Some housing available for a single individual having your own room and bath but would share a kitchen and commons area.
