Citizen or a Permanent Resident to be considered for any U.QUALIFICATIONS: - Solid Feedlot background- Excellent animal health skills- Able to identify sick cattle and treat them- Good feeding experience- Prefer farm background/crop production experience- Good maintenance/mechanical skills JOB DESCRIPTION: Cattle work includes feeding cattle, overseeing receiving, shipping and processing of cattle, monitoring health and doctoring sick animals, and keeping records on all activities associated with the cattle. Farming would be minimal but be willing to assist during planting and harvest. Routine facility maintenance, including fencing, water repair, and dirt-work is a part of all seasonal activities, as is trucking and operating heavy equipment. Person must be dependable, have good decision-making skills, be a self-starter and willing to assist in all areas of the operation, though the main focus of the position is working in the feed yard.
