As the Interim Inpatient Pharmacy Manager, this pharmacy leader will direct and support the pharmacy's daily operations. Responsibilities will include managing schedules, optimizing workflows, developing performance improvement initiatives, assisting with staff onboarding and training, overseeing medication ordering, and balancing hands-on bench work with administrative tasks.
Reporting to the Pharmacy Director, this Interim Pharmacy Manager will have oversight of a dedicated team of pharmacy technicians, full-time pharmacists, and per diem pharmacists. The department supports pharmacy services for the hospital’s 100+ inpatient beds and additional clinics. This Interim Hospital Pharmacy Manager be welcomed into a supportive, tight-knit team that values collaboration, strong interpersonal skills, and patient safety.
The ideal Interim Pharmacy Leader for this role will have a hardworking mindset, coupled with strong leadership and people skills. This healthcare system prioritizes innovation and visionary thinking, so a like-minded individual will excel in this position. Experience in Interim Pharmacy Leadership in the acute care setting, a California Pharmacy License, and PGY1 /PGY2 Residency experience will make for quick interviews
