Schedule: Full-Time, Night Shift
Hospital: Saint Thomas Midtown
The 5 Kidd Renal Oncology unit is a 32 patient bed unit with two unique patient populations: Renal Medical and Medical Oncology. We work closely with the hospitalists, oncologists, advanced practice providers, case management and pharmacy teams to provide excellentand safe patient care.

*Travel, PRN, Short-Term Option, etc.). Provide direct nursing care, including the administration of chemotherapy and immunotherapy treatments in accordance with established policies, procedures and protocols of the healthcare organization.
Implement and monitor patient care plans. Serve as a primary coordinator of all disciplines for well-coordinated patient care.
Document and carry out physician and nursing orders.
Assess and coordinate patient's discharge planning needs with members of the healthcare team.
Draw blood samples and is an expert in the use of Triple lumen catheters, PortaCath, Hickman, Groshong, and PICC lines, and several types of programmable pumps. Licensure / Certification / Registration:
Certification specializing in Chemotherapy credentialed from the Oncology Nursing Society (ONS) obtained within 1 Month (30 days) of hire date or job transfer date required.
Registered Nurse credentialed from the Tennessee Board of Nursing obtained prior to hire date or job transfer date required.
Diploma from an accredited school/college of nursing OR Required professional licensure at time of hire.

Hematology/Oncology experience preferred.
