In this role, you will join a small, highly-focus team working to develop and maintain signal processing applications for use in a real-time operational environment. The team members are multi-disciplined and contribute across all phases of systems engineering, software development, integration and test, and metrics. The team works closely with operations personnel to meet unique and continuously development needs. Due to the security clearance requirement, this position is an onsite position in our Aurora, CO office.
What You Will Do:
- Design, develop, test, deliver, and maintain software for (DSP) Digital Signal Processing applications.
- Work with talented teams of engineers, architects, and leaders in an Agile environment.
What You Will Learn:
- Modern DevSecOps and Continuous Integration/Continuous Delivery techniques.
- Software lifecycle practices on defense projects.
- Satellite ground system technologies including command & telemetry, flight dynamics, planning and scheduling, and spacecraft operations.
Qualifications You Must Have:
- Typically requires a Bachelor's degree in Science, Technology, Engineering or Mathematics (STEM).
- Eight (8) years of relevant experience with software development using C++.
- Experience with Signal Intelligence (SIGINT), Digital Signal Processing (DSP) or DSP related software.
- Active and transferable Top Secret U.S. government issued security clearance is required prior to start date. The ability to obtain and maintain a TS/SCI U.S. government issued security clearance is also required. U.S. citizenship is required, as only U.S. citizens are eligible for a security clearance.
Qualifications We Prefer:
- Experience with Xmidas or similar digital signal processing framework.
- Experience programming in Python and Go.
- Experience with Atlassian Tools.
- Experience with Agile Development.

The salary range for this role is 96,000 USD - 200,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate's work experience, location, education/training, and key skills. Hired applicants may be eligible for benefits, including but not limited to, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, short-term disability, long-term disability, 401(k) match, flexible spending accounts, flexible work schedules, employee assistance program, Employee Scholar Program, parental leave, paid time off, and holidays. Specific benefits are dependent upon the specific business unit as well as whether or not the position is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Hired applicants may be eligible for annual short-term and/or long-term incentive compensation programs depending on the level of the position and whether or not it is covered by a collective-bargaining agreement. Payments under these annual programs are not guaranteed and are dependent upon a variety of factors including, but not limited to, individual performance, business unit performance, and/or the company's performance. This role is a U.S.-based role. If the successful candidate resides in a U.S. territory, the appropriate pay structure and benefits will apply.
