We are seeking a passionate Software Engineer- DevOps to join our Digital Engineering team. The candidate will work with our Senior Software Engineers to design and build innovative solutions in support of our web platforms. 
 
In this role you will be developing frameworks for state-of-the-art web platforms to build end-to-end automation using CI/CD pipeline, define release strategy, maintain test harnesses, build reporting workflow for integration etc. This role also involves partnering with multiple stakeholders including but not limited to product owners, UX, back-end engineers, and QA engineers. 
 
Undergraduate degree or equivalent experience/certification in computer science or related discipline 
~5+ years’ experience in Devops and DevSecops implementations
~ Thorough understanding of SDLC, Automation tools and framework, CI/CD pipelines.
~ Design, develop and implement software integrations based on requirements.
~ Gather and analyze metrics from operating systems as well as applications to assist in performance tuning and fault finding.
~ Partner with development teams to improve services through rigorous testing and release procedures.
~ Participate in platform management, capacity planning, and system design 
~ Stay up to date with the latest Devops technologies and best practices.

 
Experience with CI/CD and project management tools (e.g. Create plug-and-play/reusable solutions and patterns for CICD pipelines.
Create, develop, and implement automation and system integration for various build platforms. 
Publish and disseminate DevOps and DevSecOps best practices, patterns, and solutions 
Build or maintain CICD building blocks and shared libraries proactively for app and development teams to enable quicker build and deployment. 
Design action plans to address CICD platform/tools/solutions’ shortcomings and difficulties. 
Experience with configuration management and deployment automation tools such as Terraform, Ansible, Terraform, etc.
Experience in System Testing and Building Automation Tools
Experience with web technologies (REST, JSON etc.)
Experience with both private and public cloud infrastructure and interfacing programmatically through APIs
A proactive approach to identifying problems, performance bottlenecks, and areas for improvement.
Experience with monitoring tools like Dynatrace, Splunk, et al.
Proven ability to work in an Agile development environment.
 
Trains and/or mentors other team members, and peers as appropriate, including installation and support teams
Provides technical input on department or projects, budgets, capital expenditures or other cost/resource estimates as requested
Ensures all projects follow the defined development and business case processes
Ensures proper coordination with appropriate IT and vendor relations teams
Ensures early warning to the business stakeholder executives regarding degraded or missed service levels
Coordinates with Operations and Infrastructure teams for deployment and production support activities
