Role Overview:

The Technical Project Manager is a key position that bridges the Engineering teams and Product. Reporting to the Product organization, this role is responsible for aligning engineering projects with Product goals and objectives, ensuring that the technical efforts are in sync with the Product strategy and roadmap.

Key Responsibilities
  • Project Planning and Management: Develop and manage detailed project plans that implement product strategies. Manage project timelines, resources, and risks to ensure milestones are met.
  • Team Collaboration: Work closely with engineering teams, gaining an understanding of their processes and workflows. Facilitate communication and cooperation among project stakeholders and across departments.
  • Process Optimization: Implement and refine project management methodologies to enhance team efficiency and minimize administrative tasks for engineers. 
  • Stakeholder Management: Serve as a liaison between the Engineering and Product, ensuring clear communication and understanding of project goals and progress. Regularly update stakeholders on project developments, challenges, and outcomes.
Qualifications
  • 3-5 years experience in a Technical Project Manager role or similar, with a focus in a product-oriented environment.
  • Strong understanding of software development process.
  • Proficiency in project management software, especially Jira.
  • Exceptional organization, communication and interpersonal abilities.
  • Experience with hardware projects a strong plus.
