Are you detail oriented and a good communicator? If so, put your skills to use handling a wide variety and size of drawing updates, and creating new plans for large commercial and industrial properties. You will work closely with your supervisor, as well as our QC/Training team, as you learn our customized CAD system and specialized plans.

Initially, assignments will be of limited scope and complexity giving you the opportunity to learn.  You will gradually begin drafting plans of larger, more complex properties, working from our field engineer’s notes as well as plans from the facility.
Responsibilities will include:
~Managing your workload to meet deadlines and other performance requirements.
~Communicating with supervisor any issues or concerns.
~Ensure that FM Global Insurance Plan standards are followed.
~Learning our CAD tool and processes.

Successful CAD Operator candidates have the following qualifications:
~Minimum of a high school diploma
~College Degree and/or CAD drafting certificate is a plus
~1 - 3 years of related experience is a plus
~Strong verbal and written English communications skills
~Good analytical, organizational, problem solving, and interpersonal skills
~Efficient time management ability with minimal supervision
~Solid technical aptitude including diverse knowledge of drafting principles
~Proficient in MS Office products
