Commercial Mortgage Banker

FULL-TIME




Perform a full range of banking services to individual customers and commercial clients as well as providing support to staff. Other duties include proving New Accounts and Teller services and cross-selling bank products and services and supporting the other branch needs as needed. Project a professional image for TrustBank by providing exceptional customer service at all times.




Open and close bank when needed.

Remain flexible to scheduling needs during all Parkside business hours.

Balance drawer cash and vault cash.

Balance and stock ATM.

Process night drop deposits.

Assist customers in resolving account related problems.

Establish proper identification of all new customers, obtain credit report to determine acceptance of account, and determine product suitability to meet customer's needs.

Assist customers by opening new accounts.

Give out appropriate loan applications.

Issue and redeem certificates of deposit.

Stay within compliance guidelines when opening and closing all accounts.

Order and stock adequate supplies.

Attend bank meetings and educational seminars as required.

Ship and order currency and coin from Fed.

The position is a full-time position, working 40-hours per week. Some overtime may be required. Hours may vary depending on the needs of the bank and availability on Saturdays is required. a typical schedule would entail weekdays 9 AM to 6 PM and Saturdays 8 - Noon, with one day off during the week if scheduled to work on a Saturday. Must have high school education and be able to master on-the-job training requirements. Prior retail banking experience is desired but not necessary.




The ability to perform detailed work with accuracy and cash handling skills are essential.




Ability to use computer for data entry, word processing, MSOffice, and may be assigned spreadsheet work. Knowledge and ability to learn the bank's data processing system. Us of personal computer, calculator, telephone, shredder, scanner/copier, and other general office equipment.
