Do you have trust/and or estate planning expertise? Edward Jones Trust Company provides a full range of trust, investment management, and custody services to individuals, businesses, charitable organizations, and private foundations. The Trust New Business & Client Experience team is responsible for business development, new account onboarding and due diligence, account opening, branch training and education, and the development and maintenance of marketing collateral and resources. The team also has accountability for enhancing and delivering the client experience in partnership and collaboration with Financial Advisors and branch teams, internal stakeholders, and external professionals including attorneys and CPAs.
The Senior Trust & Wealth Strategist's primary responsibilities are to assist Financial Advisors in attracting, retaining, and deepening client relationships, provide education on trust and estate planning strategies driven by the client's unique situation, and drive new AUC growth to the firm and Edward Jones Trust Company. Trust and Wealth Strategist will leverage the extensive resources of our home office and Edward Jones Trust Company to support our financial advisors in serving their High Net Worth clients with complex needs. This role will be called upon as a financial planning subject matter expert, with extensive Trust and Estate Planning expertise, and will apply knowledge of financial planning disciplines to unique client circumstances and work directly with branch teams and their clients.
Work closely with Financial Advisors to build relationships with High Net Worth clients and prospects by providing guidance on estate and tax planning issues.
Cultivate internal and external professional networks to identify and develop prospective Trust Company client relationships.
Educate Advisors on various estate planning techniques and partner with them to integrate wealth structuring concepts into goals-based advice.
Present Edward Jones Trust Company capabilities and services to Financial Advisors, clients, COIs, and prospective clients.
Consult with branch teams, clients, and clients' attorneys and accountants on the implementation of estate, income tax and financial plans.
Cultivate and maintain relationships with COI's in partnership with Financial Advisors.
Review existing and/or proposed estate planning documents to provide considerations and set expectations when naming a corporate trustee.

The salary range for this role is based on national data and actual pay is based on skills, experience, education, and other relevant factors for a potential new associate:
Bachelor's degree required
Ability to travel and maintain presence in target markets at least 50% of time
Minimum 10 years of experience within Trust and Estate Planning industry and delivering solutions through Financial Advisors.
Extensive experience working with clients as a Financial Advisor or member of a planning team
In-depth knowledge of trust and estate planning strategies
Understanding of Financial Advisor/Branch Office Administrator/branch processes including the implementation of a solutions-based approach
Louis, MO home office locations are expected to work in the office three days per week, with preference for Tuesday through Thursday.
