Northrop Grumman Aeronautics Systems has an immediate need for an Electrical Engineer (Integration) or Principal Electrical Engineer (Integration) to support our Avionics Integrations West organization. This position will be based in Palmdale, CA with up to 25% domestic travel required. To succeed in this position, one should be familiar with and understand one or more of the following: electromagnetics, communications, optics, receiver architecture, advanced signal processing techniques, sensor modeling, and/or sensor performance validation. This position may be filled at either the Electrical Engineer (Integration) or Principal Electrical Engineer (Integration) level depending upon the qualifications below.
Basic Qualifications for Electrical Engineer (Integration):
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 2 years of relevant engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM field with 0 years of relevant engineering experience.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Basic Qualifications for Principal Electrical Engineer (Integration):
Bachelor's degree in a STEM field with 5 years of relevant engineering experience; OR a Master's degree in a STEM field with 3 years of relevant engineering experience; OR a PhD in a STEM field with 0 years of relevant engineering experience.
Active DoD Top Secret clearance.
Ability to obtain and maintain Special Program Access (SAP/PAR). This SAP/PAR must be obtained prior to commencement of employment and must be obtained within a reasonable amount of time as determined by the company to meet its business needs.
Experience with RF based test equipment to include spectrum analyzers, network analyzers, and power meters
Experience in initial design, review, and the approval process and implementation thereof said design cradle to grave.
Experience in Team Center, the Team Center release process, CATIA and CAD drawing.
Experience with supplier subcontractors and supplier SOW.
Active SAP/PAR
